Making Mackie’s

#Engagemakecurate is working on our inaugural project in Mackie’s Corner in the centre of Sunderland – our first install day was very productive. This project is commissioned by @Sunderland Culture through their @Great Place Scheme, which is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

EMC^3

 27th July – August 25th

EMC-3

A Fine Art group exhibition in the Hutchinson Building in the centre of Sunderland.

We create. We experiment. We conjure. This exhibition is a collaboration between three very different practices. Engage Make Curate (E-M-C-ARTS) are a compound of artists with a diverse range of mediums, methods and subject matters. Artists are the 21st century alchemists playing with seemingly magical processes of transformation and construction. Studios are our laboratories and cauldrons, engineering a brew of ideas shaping procedures, textures and colours. This exhibition aims to celebrate a range of different fine art practices.

This project has been commissioned by @Sunderland Culture through their @Great Place Scheme, which is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Mackie’s Corner

Engage-Make-Curate is working with Sunderland Culture supported by the Great place Scheme to create an event running alongside the Tall Ships this Summer 2018. The space is currently having a fresh lick of paint courtesy of the landlord  QCspace. This is a fantastic first project for our collective running from the 11th-14th of July.
